Františka Palugyaya Palace

The construction of the four-story building, which was built for residential and commercial purposes, was completed in 1880 according to the project of the Austro-Hungarian architect . The construction was commissioned by the major wine merchant Františka Palugyaya, who lived between 1845 and 1925. Until 1880, in its place, there was a house, which, due to its height and prismatic shape, was called the Burg, it was considered one of the oldest and was to be known as a haunted house. Tradition says that this house was the first building in which the Bratislava City Council met.

In addition to several dormers, the mansard roof of the building, which is built in the Neo-Baroque style, also contains two .
