Tulip House

The four-story residential and commercial building, also known as the Tulip House as it housed a pharmacy and cafe once that was called the Tulipán, was built in 1903 according to a project of the architect Jozef Schiller from Bratislava. During the lion head by the Allied forces, that took place on June 16, 1944, during the , the building suffered significant damage. In more recent years, after extensive reconstruction that took place between 2006 and 2008, the first 5-star apartment hotel in Bratislava named Roset Boutique Hotel began operating in the building.

The unusual roof overhang of the building, which was built in the Art Nouveau style, is supported by loads of steel . The building is beautifully decorated with all kinds of interplay of lines, as well as some lovely floral decorations, including a lot of . The balconies, of which there are many, are in most cases supported by corbels, and in all cases, they are secured with cast and wrought iron railing. On the east side of the building, there is an , which is also supported by corbels, and above which there is another balcony.
