The two-story corner building, which was constructed with commercial premises on the first and residential premises on the second floor, was built at the beginning of the nineties of the 19th century according to the plans that were made by the architectural office Albert in . The building was owned by the councilor and merchant Mila Lacković, who was the owner of the three buildings in Slavonski Brod. The commercial premises were in use by the goldsmith and jeweler Dragutin Schwendemann and the fabric wholesaler Mijo Lacković.

The corner top of the Eclectic and Neo-Renaissance building is determined by a pointed , in which an ornamental vase and birds are located. The same vase is used in the broken segmental pediment, while they're not used in the normal segmental pediments, some of which are supported by two . The frieze on the second floor features some , as well as fragments that contain a . Some of the second floor windows are flanked by a combination of and columns, which are crowned with a Corinthian .

The balcony, which is located on the corner, is supported by three corbels and secured with a stone balustrade in which and two decorative vases are incorporated. The stone blocks on the second floor, which provide a nice change from the bricks that are present in greater numbers, as well as many of the stone blocks on the first floor, are decorated with .
