Mila Lacković Palace

- Trg Pobjede 29 -
The two-story building, which has a commercial function on the first floor and a residential function on the second floor, was constructed in 1904. The construction was commissioned by the wealthy merchant Mila Lacković, who owned a store on Jelačića Placa that offered manufactured consumer goods. The building housed the administration of Brodvin, and in 1907, it was rented out for the needs of the post office, which stayed there until 1943, when they moved into the newly constructed post office building. The first post office was opened in Brod na Sava, nowadays Slavanski Brod, in 1820, which was equipped by local merchants.
