Puncho Stoyanov House

The construction of the two-story building, which houses a commercial premise on the first floor and a residential premise on the second floor, was completed around 1900. The building was built for the by the Vidin merchant Puncho Stoyanov, a refugee from Macedonia, who at his request, had a statue installed on the facade of the building as a symbol of the still enslaved homeland.

On top of the Eclectic building, you can see the statue of a young chained woman that's surrounded by two lion statues. At the same height, you can see a lot of , as well as two lion head . Underneath the roof , you can alternately see and , of which the latter are embellished with and foliage. The frieze of which they're part also features some and , as well as a globe. In the , which are located on top of the second floor windows, you can either admire an adorned with a decorative shell and , or a surrounded by floral decorations and adorned with a decorative shell, a and the initials of the former owner. The that flank the second floor windows are all crowned with an Ionic . Underneath these windows, you can either see a , or a balcony that's supported by two corbels and secured with a stone balustrade that's incorporated with different balusters as the balconets. The frieze on the first floor contains, in addition to some geometric ornamentation, embellished with guttae.
