Drama Theater Vladimir Trandafilov

The one-story cultural building was built in 1891 with funds collected from the Vida Theater Construction Fund, which was founded in 1887 by an initiative committee. The designer of the theater building is unknown, but in 1893, the Czech city's chief engineer and architect, , redrew the project but did not note its author. The opening of the theater, which was the first theater building built in Bulgaria, was made on the eve of the new year 1891 with general invitations to all citizens of Vidin. The beginning of theatrical work in Vidin dates even further back with the establishment of the Vida Charitable Theater Society in 1879. By Decree of the Council of Ministers in 1972, the theater was renamed and received the name after the actor .

The balconies that cover the entrances on the western and southern sides of the building are supported by even more columns and secured with a stone balustrade with incorporated .
