First Croatian Savings Bank

The construction of the four-story building, which houses administrative, commercial, and residential premises, began in 1921 and was completed in 1923. In 1924, the First Croatian Savings Bank, then under the management of Koloman Djanješić, moved to the newly built building. In 1911, a branch of the First Croatian Savings Bank from was opened in Brod na Sava, nowadays Slavonski Brod, in the house of Dragutin Radosavljević, director of the Brod Savings Bank, which was founded in 1872. Bank premises were located on the first floor of the building and on the first and second floors of the south side. On the second floor, there were residential premises where the director of the bank Koloman Djanješić lived, as well as Doctor Vrkljan Vilim, who was a dentist. On the third floor, there were the residences of Doctor Kolak and Doctor Benčević. On the fourth floor, the Beli family and the Šarić family lived, and on the fourth floor, the Veselsky family. During the , the building was by the Allies, which destroyed the complete backside of the building. The building was completely demolished in 1948 and, in its place, the department store called Vesna was built.
The building after the bombardment
On top of the part of the Neo-Classical building, a could be admired, which contained a . In the same part, there were a total of five , as well as six , all of which were crowned with an Ionic . A segmental was placed above the second floor windows, and a balcony, which was supported by four , was placed above the main entrance.
