Franz Krautwaschl House

- Piața Unirii 11 -
The two-story residential and commercial building, which is part of the Canonic Houses together with the surrounding three houses, was attested around 1758, so it is likely that they were built before that date. The registered owner of the building in 1828 was Franz Krautwaschl, and in 1844, the restaurant with the name La Struł started operating in the building. In 1844 the four houses had a single facade, which was probably damaged during the , after which individual facades were rebuilt. Bank branches, newsrooms, and party headquarters operated in the building in the 19th, as well as 20th centuries. Renovation works were carried out in 1980, which is written on the top of the building.
