Arthur Popper Villa

The construction of the three-story reseidential building, which was bsolely built with a residential function, took place between 1903 and 1906. The building was built according to a project of the architect Jakob Bruckner, who before moving to Sarajevo, designed and built a house for the Popper family in . After moving to Sarajevo, he designed this building according to the original design that he created earlier. So, the same house exists in Vienna, only the one in Vienna is a little bit older. The great-grandfather of Sarajevo's visiting rabbi Eliezer Pape bought the house in 1927, only for the same owners to later sell it to someone else.
