Salom Family Palace

The four-story building, which was constructed in 1912, was built with a residential and commercial function. The building was built for the owners Ješu and Mojca Salom who commissioned the construction for the project to the Austro-Hungarian architect . The building is built with a wooden elevator that's powered by an original electric motor. In 1949, the east wing was upgraded in the area above the mansard, and the added apartments disturbed the enviable composition of the northern facade.

The symmetrical Art Nouveau building features two topped with a dome. A is placed between the two domes containing an oval window surrounded by garlands. The four dormers, which are placed within the mansard roof, are adorned with and foliage. The balcony that connects the two oriel windows, as well as the , all contain the same simplified . The that separates the second from the third floor, is embellished with . The second floor is richly decorated with all kinds of floral ornamentation, as well as several statues wearing local costumes worn throughout the city's history. The first floor contains several fragments, which are decorated with a and various pinecones, which symbolize human enlightenment, resurrection, eternal life, and regeneration. A richly decorated is placed above the main entrance door that contains the initials M.S.
