Petar Drumev House

The two-story building, which was built for the residential needs of an Armenian merchant, was constructed in 1931. The first floor, which was used for commercial purposes, housed a food store that supplied the whole neighborhood. The building became state property in 1941, and in the period between January 29, 1941, and October 23, 1943, it became the property of the Bulgarian mayor of Tutrakan and lawyer, Petar Drumev. He was born on December 22, 1906, in the small village of , in the family of Drumi Panayotov. He graduated in law at University in 1932, after which he worked at the District Court. During his administration as mayor of Tutrakan, he faced many natural disasters, including an earthquake on November 9, 1941, and a flood in March 1942. After his reassignment, other municipal officials were housed in the building. Later, it was given by the state to Vasil Vangelov Torbarov, as compensation for his properties, which remained in the city of , Romania.

The symmetrical Art Nouveau building features geometric forms, including diamond shapes that are placed within the frieze. The balcony that's placed in the central part of the main facade is secured with a stone balustrade with simplified . The , which in some cases turns into a , is decorated in some places with . The capitals are part of made of stone blocks, including .
