Children's Art School

- Stefanaki Savov Street 8 -
The construction of the two-story building, which was executed around 1905, was commissioned by the Bulgarian lawyer, revolutionary, public and political activist, and deputy, Stefan Hristov Savov. In later years, the building housed the Children's Art School, which was established in 1950, as one of the first in the country. At certain times, the school teaches folk instruments, like kaval, bagpipe, and gudulka, as well as wind instruments such as clarinet, trumpet, and baritone. The ballet formation was established as a department of the school in 1957, and hundreds of children from Vratsa have passed through it, under the skilled guidance of teachers.
