Stoykov Brother House

- Ulitsa Dinju Nojkov 6 -
The two-story building, which was originally built for residential purposes, was constructed in 1921. It was built by the two Stoykov brothers, who owned a company named Bratya Stoykov, which was founded in 1911. In the 1920s they also built a mill in Nova Zagora, on which in the 1930s they took out a loan, mortgaged the house and the mill and both lost them. In the 1950s, the house was converted into a hospital with surgical and obstetric departments. Later it became a dormitory, and in the mid-1960s, the building was converted into a pioneer home, as it was until the end of the 1990s. In 1999, the foundation named after the French physicist of Bulgarian origin, Minyu Balkanski, purchased and restored the building.
