Zsigmond Lévay Palace

- Strada Libertății 4 -
The three-story building, which was built to house commercial premises on the first floor and residential premises on the upper floors, was constructed between 1892 and 1894. It was built according to a project that came from the hand of the Hungarian architect János Hazlián for Zsigmond Lévay. The building was built on the site of two buildings, the only ones that survived the flood of 1817. In the 1970s, the biggest toy store in the city called Luminita was located on the first floor of the building.
