Adolf Moskovits and Sons Palace

The residential and commercial four-story building was built on the plot where until 1905 the buildings of the Nikolits family and the Diamandi family used to stand. In 1905 these two buildings were bought by Mór Moskovits Junior and Doctor József Moskovits, wealthy men, owning a spirit, yeast, beer and milling business, shareholders and owners of Moskovits Adolf and Sons’ enterprise. The newly constructed building, which was built in the period between 1910 and 1911, was built according to the project of the Hungarian architects and brothers, and .

The building, which is built in the style of Art Nouveau, is lavishly decorated with all sorts of geometric shapes. In addition, the building is distinguished by the two striking top gables and the four located on the west and north sides of the building. Also, the beautiful folklore drawings at the top of the facades are also worth mentioning. The building also contains a number of of different lengths, all of which are secured with a cast iron railing.
