Profitable buildings are architectural objects caused by specific socio-economic and social conditions. Even during the , the growing economic crisis directed part of the free capital to invest in the construction of public, commercial and residential buildings. The so-called commercial and residential income buildings. The characteristic of them is that they are distinguished by a fundamentally new architecture, which in its more common version combines residential and commercial parts as shops and offices. One of these so-called commercial and residential income buildings is the Kazandjiev Building, which was built in 1918.

The Art Nouveau styled building is notable for its many domes, six of which have a pointed and the other a blunt one. The building contains a total of three , two of which are hexagonal and can be found on the sides of the building. The one which is placed with an angle of 45 degrees on the corner of the building contains two circular balconies. One of the balconies is secured with a wrought iron railing and the other with a stone balustrade, which is adorned with . On the northern side of the building, you can find four more balconies, but these ones are rectangular instead of circular. If you look up and above the circle top windows you can see a with the initial K. On the fourth floor, you can see a lot of geometric shaped ornamentation, while the third floor contains more natural shapes. Above each of the windows, you can admire a of a lion's head, and between the windows a fragment containing a laurel wreath, , , and a pearl necklace. A segmental is placed on top of the windows on the second floor, which is embellished with a decorative shell. The underneath the same windows contain two volutes each.
