The construction of the two-story building, which was solely built with a residential function, took place in 1892. It was built according to the design of an unknown architect on a plot located in the sports complex of , a prominent athlete and the founder of Palić Olympics in 1880. For the purpose of holding the games, he started building numerous buildings on the shore of the lake, including this villa, which he built for his mother. Later on, the building became used as a casino, and after that, it was newly renovated and became a luxury facility that welcomes guests for an overnight stay.

The villa was built in the then fashionable Swiss chalet style, with abundant use of wood and roof tiles created by the famous ceramics factory. The roof overhand, as well as the impressive , are supported by a lot of wooden . The clock tower, which contains a total of one clock, is adorned with ceramic tiles that are adorned with geometric forms. The building is built up by lots of protruding blocks, including the , which give the building a nice sense of depth. A is placed on the southern side of the building, which is supported by two columns that are crowned with a Doric . The balustrade of the terrace, as well as the banisters of the stairs that lead to this terrace, are both incorporated with .
