Ivan Sauter House

The three-story building, which was built with a residential function, was constructed in 1905. The rental building, which was divided into six apartments, was built according to a design that came from the hand of the Croatian architect . The construction was commissioned by the Jewish lawyer and city council representative, Doctor Ivan Sauter, and his wife Albertina.

The Art Nouveau building features many , which in some cases are supported by a number of columns crowned with a . Some of the loggias are secured with a cast iron railing, in some cases adorned with ginkgo leaves, while others are secured with a stone balustrade, which in two cases is incorporated with . Two of the other stone balustrades are decorated with an , which is embellished with a shield-shaped ornament that contains the letter S or the year of completion, some floral ornamentation, and six . The building is beautifully embellished in some places with and an motif. In addition, the building is decorated with several , , and some decorative vases.
