Former Credit Bank

The two-story administrative and commercial building was originally built in 1840, the same year that the Credit Bank started operating in the building. The bank was founded on the initiative of several merchants from Arada with the support of the then-mayor of Arada, . Initially, the bank had a character of mutual aid, but after four years it was turned into an anonymous company. In 1896, both the interior and exterior of the building were completely transformed and modernized according to the design of the local architect .
