Meteor Building

- Strada Ștefan cel Mare 1-3 -
The construction of the two-story building, which was solely built for residential and commercial purposes, was completed in 1912. The building was originally built as an inn, which later turned into a hotel with a restaurant. In 1925, the building housed a pub highly respected for its services and visited by many Giurgiu residents at that time. The Meteor restaurant, during the communist period renamed Alimentara, was still functional in the last years before the Romanian of 1989 but ended up going bankrupt after it.
