Iancu Marinescu House

The one-story building, which was solely built for residential purposes, was constructed in 1901. The building was inhabited by the Romanian guitarist and soloist, Iancu Marinescu, who was born around the 1860s, in , in a family of violinists. He is considered one of the greatest Romanian singers from the period between 1900 and 1920 and created dozens of recordings at a lot of different labels. He recorded both musical folklore and romances or obscene songs and was one of the only Romanian performers who managed to record numerous discs in those days. He played with the best orchestras of the period, as well as with the most famous violinists. He died on April 15, 1940, in at the age of 79.

The part of the Neo-Renaissance building, which is located on the eastern side of the building, is topped with a large segmental that's adorned with a surrounded by floral ornamentation. The segmental pediments that are placed above the windows are also adorned with floral ornamentation, but instead of a cartouche, you can admire .
