- Széchenyi Tér 1 -
The four-story building, which was built according to the plan of the Hungarian architect with an administrative and commercial function, got its current appearance in 1907. The first city hall was built in 1686 after the of the Turks, which was completed in 1698. That building was destroyed during the ravage in 1704, but was rebuilt in its original form in 1710, and in 1713, the building got its first tower. In 1780, the announcement was made in the city hall that Pécs was becoming a free royal city. In 1809, during 's annual campaign, the building was evacuated and turned into a hospital. Due to the fact that many new jobs had to be organized, which the old building could no longer provide, a new city hall had to be built. The honor of designing the new building was given to the Hungarian architect József Piatsek. The construction of the new town hall finally began in 1830 and was partly constructed with the stones of the previous building. The newly built three-story building was handed over in April 1834 and also had a tower.

After the completion, various shops and restaurants started operating in the commercial part of the building, located on the first floor.
