People's Loan Bank

The four-story building, which was constructed in 1907, was built with administrative, commercial, and residential functions. The construction was executed by the Slovenian builder and entrepreneur according to the design that was created by the Austro-Hungarian architect . The construction was commissioned by the People's Loan Bank, which was the only one of the banks and savings banks in Ljubljana that had the right to stamp banknotes of Austro-Hungarian origin.

Two statues of a female figure, which are holding a in one hand and a money bag in the other, are placed on top of the Art Nouveau building. At the same height, there are six lavishly decorated piers, as well as an motif that's used elsewhere as well. The roof overhang is supported by a lot of , and at that same height, you can see two richly decorated placed underneath a . The , some of which are supported by even more corbels and some other placed on top of an , are all secured with a cast iron railing. In addition to all the geometric and floral decorations, the building is also embellished with loads of .
