The construction of the three-story building, which was built for residential and commercial use, was completed in 1909. It was built according to the design that came from the hand of the Austrian architect as one of the first buildings that he designed that was constructed in . The construction was executed under the leadership of the Austrian master builder and it was commissioned to house the Hotel Kointsch.

The two most striking features of the Art Nouveau building are the two top gables and the two . The turrets, which are part of the roof, are both crowned with a . The gables on the south and north sides of the building are beautifully decorated with garlands made of stones placed in them like a kind of mosaic. This method of decoration is also used elsewhere in the building. In addition, the building contains many of different sizes, which are secured with a wooden railing. On the north side of the building, there is a large window where the facade moves along with the stairs.
