Christof Mösslacher House

The construction of the two-story building, which was solely built for residential purposes, was completed in 1909. The building was built according to a project of the Austrian architect and was built for the hotelier Christof Mösslacher to house a hotel. Between 1909 and 1926 he managed the Velden Castle Hotel and became the chairman of the administrative board. His daughters, Sophie Günzl and Elsa Böhm, bought Velden Castle in 1926 and turned it into a hotel of international importance.

The roof of the building, which is built in the German national romanticism and English country house style, contains several dormers, chimneys, and . A is placed on the southern side and the northeastern corner that are both crowned with a , one of which is adorned with an ornamental sun. One of the turrets is supported by two , while the other one is supported by one cone-shaped corbel. The beautiful wooden and , as well as the wooden , are also supported by corbels. Some of the wooden balustrades are incorporated with wooden .
