Villa Lisi

- Koschatpromenade 22 -
The two-story building was built in 1911 by the Austrian master builder Anton Bulfon for the residential needs of himself and his wife Lisi Bulfon, maiden name Köber, after which the villa is named after. Since Bulfon was friends with the Austrian architect , his involvement in the design would also be conceivable. Anton was born on June 13, 1885, in , in the family of Adelaide Bulfon and the master bricklayer Albin Bulfon, who moved to Tiffen as a very young man where he founded a flourishing construction company. At the age of 17, Anton Bulfon was assigned by his father to be the construction manager of the large elementary school in . In order to gain respect from his workers and not look so young, he grew a full beard, which later earned him the nickname the beard. He earned respect from the many employees in his company and from everyone who had to do with him, even without a beard, thanks to his exceptional competence. In 1908 he moved to Velden, married in 1911, and brought his young wife Lisi into the self-built, fully furnished Villa Lisi. His tireless hard work and ambition enabled him to found and manage a remarkable construction company, which was involved in many of the constructions that took place in the region. Anton Bulfon died on October 27, 1961, in , at the age of 76.
