Tamás Czermak House

The plot on which the two-story corner building was built, was bought by Tamás Czermak in 1899, a well-known industrialist of that time in Timișoara. The plot became free for sale after the decision made between 1893 and 1895 by the town planning plan. A few years after obtaining the plot, on July 7, 1902, Tamás obtained the building permit, and just more than a year later, on July 17, 1903, he received the residence permit.

The building, which is built in the Eclectic style with some Art Nouveau elements, features two top gables featuring some obelisks, a segmental , and some floral decorations. The roof , which is adorned with and interrupted by the top gables, turns segmental once it reaches the protruded parts. The frieze contains some air vents that feature a lavishly decorated frame around them. The frieze, certain parts of the , as well as the parts underneath the second floor windows, are all embellished with . In addition to the rosettes, the pilasters are also beautifully decorated with other floral decorations and a lovely female . The alluring located on the corner of the building is supported with two corbels and gracefully decorated with rosettes and . Most of the located on the first floor are again beautifully decorated with floral decorations.
