László Toldalagi Palace

The two-story building which was built between 1759 and 1772 as a residential building for Count László Toldalagi, assessor of the Royal Board. It was built according to the plans of the French architect Jean Louis D'or, and the interior decorations were made by Pál Schmidt and sculptural work was done by from . In 1786, a printing house was established by Ádám Nyerges in the building, which was donated to the Reformed College in 1802. In the first part of the 1940s, the building housed the bank with the name Erdélyi Bank Rt. Since 1984, it has housed the section of Ethnography and Folk Art of the Mureș County Museum, which was established in 1885.

The top gable of the Neo-Baroque building features an ornamental crown and the stone-carved coats of arms of the families of Counts Toldalagi and Counts Wass. On top of the top gable, as well as the two beautifully decorated surrounding dormers, you can see a bust of a male figure. Underneath the , which are located above the second floor windows, you can alternately see more busts, , and flora ornamentation, including and foliage. The same counts for the parts underneath these same windows. The that are located on this same floor are all crowned with a Corinthian . In the central part of the building, you can admire a lavishly embellished , which features a crow that holds a golden ring in his beak. On the first floor, you can see several , as well as two adorned with floral decorations.
