Andor Fekete House

- Piața Victoriei 31 -
The construction works of the three-story building, which was built with commercial premises on the first floor and residential premises on the upper two floors, were executed in 1900. The construction, which was executed according to the design that came from the hand of the Hungarian architect , was commissioned by the Jakkab family. The building was later inherited by Andor Fekete, a lawyer, newspaper owner, and city politician.
The building is shown in an old postcard
The most defining parts of the Art Nouveau building are the two top gables, of which the roof overhang is supported by six . The corbels that support the roof overhang between the two gables are supported by wooden corbels, which are also part of a wooden . The building is richly decorated with all kinds of geometric shapes that are also reflected in the corbels that support the three , which are secured with a cast-iron railing.
