Albina Bank

The construction of the impressive three-story building, which was built with a commercial and administrative function, was completed in 1913. The building was built to house a branch of the Albina Bank according to the plan that was created by the Hungarian architect , who was the chief architect of the city at that time. The Albina Bank was founded in at the initiative of the teacher and with the support of several Romanian personalities, in order to support the Romanians in Transylvania. The was a bank established in 1871 after the approval of the statute, which was submitted to the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture and Trade in . The bank was abolished just a few years after the end of the by the new communist regime.
