Hârbovăț Medical Building

The plot on which the building was built was offered by the City Hall in 1905, and the old houses that stood on the plot were demolished in 1907. In 1909, the construction of the nursing home for healthcare purposes began, and the building was soon enlarged by the construction of another floor in 1910. It was built for the Community of Medical Sisters of the , which was founded in 1905. Between the and the , the building housed the Hospital. Later on, it became the headquarters of the Audiovisual Council, and the former hospital houses the central office of the National Medical Insurance Company.

The impressive robust building, which is built in the style of Eclectic and Art Nouveau, contains a lot of medical crosses that indicate the purpose of the building. They're placed on several , which in some cases also include a pier. Some of the pilasters also feature an , which is also placed underneath each of the windows that are located on the first and second floors. A is placed above these same windows, which also counts for all of the doors.
