Stepan Zalesky House

- Vlaicu Pircalab 17 -
The two-story building, which had a lot of different functions over the years, was built in 1900 by the architect Stepan Ignatovichi Zalesky according to his own design. It was built on the plot where the house of the Vlahce family used to stand, which was demolished in the summer of 1897. In 1900, the newly constructed building was leased for twelve years to the Government Review Chamber. In 1910, the property was given to Lichtman, and in 1940, it became the property of the Ministry of Health. At that time, it housed the Republican Oncology Hospital, and from around the 1970s, it became the Republican Dental Clinic.
