Andrey Tsankov House

The residential building was designed by the architect . In 1919, financier Andrey Tsankov had it built as a wedding present for his wife Velika Karagiozova. Their two children, Tsanko and Vesela, were born here. In 1929 Velika Tsankova remained a widow and a few years later she sold the building to the prominent Bulgarian banker and politician Dimitar Savov.

Between the two world wars, Dimitar Savov was involved in the management of many Bulgarian companies and was briefly Minister of Finance in 's government in 1944. After 1944 he was sentenced by the People's Court and banished to Belene, where he died. After 1989, his son restored the Democratic Party and was a member of the Grand National Assembly. He managed to get the family home back, but it was sold shortly after.
Dimitar Savov
The building is built in the Neo-Baroque style and has beautiful Art Nouveau ornaments. The south side of the building of the building has a balcony. The balcony has four and in between an iron fence with decorative . Underneath the balcony, the level out with the balusters and are nicely decorated with . Even a small is to be seen underneath the balcony. The above the windows are decorated with ornaments and on the eastern facade, they are even decorated with . At the main entrance, the is supported by a single column, which is crowned with an Ionic .

The building was recently renovated and received the first prize in the category "Restoration Construction" at the national competition "Facade of the Year 2006-2007".
