The construction of the two-story detached building, which was built for administrative purposes, was completed in 1896. The building, which is called the Craftsman's House, housed many different organizations, including the Osijek Association of Accountants and Financial Workers, which was housed in the building premises in the period from 1955 to 1962. During that time, the accordion choir of children of Osijek craftsmen performed on the premises of the building. The choir operated for ten years under the direction of Mister Joo and gave concerts for, among others, the Osijek's Liberation Day, Republic Day, and New Year's Eve. Another institution that was housed in the building is the Spatial Planning Institute of Osijek-Baranja County, which was established in 1995.
