Vladoje Čačinović House

The three-story corner building, which became the first realized project for the solution of the corner of the future block, was built in 1905. It was built for the residential needs of the agronomist Vladoje Čačinović who commissioned the design to the Croatian architect , who presented himself as an excellent urban planner and architect. Vladoje was born in in 1849, and after completing sixth grade at the gymnasium in Osijek, he graduated from the Academy of Economics in . He practiced his skills on the estates in Darda and Belje, and from 1869, he was the economic manager on the estate of Baron Prandau. In 1886, he became the administrator of the episcopal estate in , which, thanks to him, became one of the most exemplary estates in Slavonia towards the end of Bishop 's life. After his retirement in 1913, he supervised the estates of Count Normann around and . Vladoje Čačinović passed away on October 21, 1916, in Osijek.

The most striking part of the Art Nouveau building is the that's topped with a crowned with a . Underneath the that separates the attic from the rest of the building, in addition to , you can also see pairs of , under which in some cases a can be admired. Two are attached to the turret, one of which is secured with a cast iron railing, and the other, which is larger, is secured with a stone balustrade and with three huge that are adorned with .
