Villa Olaf

The construction of the two-story villa, which was solely built for residential purposes, was completed in 1905. The building, which was constructed for Ciril Globačnik by the Slovenian builder , was named Villa Olaf, which can be seen in one of the lovely ornaments.

The top gables of the building, which is built in the Art Nouveau style, are both topped with a globe. The top gables are adorned with , garlands, and an motif. One of the gables features a fragment containing the year of completion, while the other one features a . Under some parts of the roof , there are , and underneath these cartouches, you can admire a crowned with an Ionic . A straight is placed above the second floor windows, which are supported by two corbels adorned with floral decorations. Underneath these windows, you can either see an or some ornamentation adorned with guttae. Underneath the cornice that separates the first from the second floor, you can see four corbels, two , as well as rectangular shapes decorated with .
