Nedyalkov Family Houses

Both the residential building that faces the street and the one in the courtyard are built according to the design of the Bulgarian architect . Both buildings are built between 1908 and 1910, of which the one in the courtyard, was built before the other one. The building, which was built in the courtyard was built for the engineer Ivan Nedyalkov who later moved to Germany. The other building, which is facing the street was built for his brother Doctor Angel Nedyalkov, who was appointed the chief physician of the sanatorium in . Their mother was the daughter of Rangel, who was a farmer in and their father was a teacher at the nearby school named after the donor of education . In order for the grandchildren to study abroad, the front house had to be rented out to the English and Turkish consulate. At the time, must have been a military attaché in Sofia and probably often came to the house on business.

Both buildings are built in the Art Nouveau style, of which the building on the street side is the most profound. An is placed on the street side of the building, which is topped with a covered balcony. The oriel window is supported by two , which act as a kind of hooks and keep the oriel window firmly in place. A floral decorated ornament is placed above the corbels, and a bit further up you can see some geometric shapes, among which a strip of . Another strip of dentils is placed in the segmental part above the main entrance door, which is covered by an and located on the east side of the building. In the center of the segmental that on both ends end in a , you'll be able to see a beautiful female with lavish hair that contains a hibiscus flower.

The building that was built in the courtyard, is embellished with loads of geometric shapes, among which are some . The whole premises is secured with a wrought iron fence and gate that are placed within four piers.
