Buchinski Family House

The three-story building, which was constructed for residential and commercial purposes, was built in 1922 by the Buchinski family. The commercial area on the first floor has housed various companies over the years, including the first-ever pharmacy in Gorna Jumaya, nowadays Blagoevgrad, which was run by the pharmacist Ivan Bogushev. He was born in 1911 and in 1924 he came to study in Gorna Jumaya, and later on, he went to , where he received a diploma for higher education in the specialty pharmacy. In 1934, he returned to Bulgaria and began working as a trainee pharmacist in the town of . After his return to Gorna Jumaya, he continued working as a pharmacist and became one of the founders of the District Pharmacy Administration in the city. As the head of this department, he made an outstanding contribution to building the pharmaceutical network throughout the county. For one year, he was the head of a pharmacy warehouse of the Bulgarian troops in . After the coup of , he worked as the head of the First Pharmacy in Blagoevgrad and as the head of the District Pharmacy Department and lived to be 92 years old.

Within the pediments, you can either admire the year of completion surrounded by a wreath, or a floral ornament that contains two . The that are abundantly present all feature three relief lines. Underneath the windows, you can either see a fragment adorned with geometric forms, or a balcony that's secured with a wrought iron railing.
