The three-story corner building, which was built with both a residential and commercial function, was constructed in the period that lasted from 1922 until 1925. The building was built as a hotel by the owner of a printing house and bookshops, Hristo Radilov, and the banker and merchant Nikola Drumev. The hotel was built during the Romanian period with the capital of Bulgarian bankers. The hotel had the reception hall on the first floor, the hotel rooms on the second and third floors, and the office and storage rooms on the attic floor. At first, for a short period, it was called the Hotel Industrial, but later on, the hotel was renamed Hotel Regal.

During the in 1940, the city became a territory of Bulgaria, and in 1942, until the end of the war, by decision of the Bulgarian government, the name of the hotel was changed to Hotel , because Bulgaria was an ally in the Triple Coalition. After the war, the hotel was renamed again, this time it was named Hotel . During the socialist period, in the beginning, only the second floor of the hotel worked, and in 1968, for a short period of time, the representative store of the Rodopa meat processing plant was housed in the reception hall. After the restitution, it was returned to the heirs of Drumev and Radilov.
