Bela Tüdös House

The construction of the two-story building, which is also known as the Peacock House, was completed in 1902. The building, which consists of two residential floors, was built according to the plans that were created by the Hungarian engineer and architect Lajos Kövér. The building was erected by the chief engineer Tüdös Bela as an income building, with the aim of bringing profit by renting out the apartments.

The Art Nouveau building got the name Peacock House because of the beautiful ornamental peacocks that are placed above the second floor windows. In addition to this ornamentation, the building contains many floral and geometric ornamentations. On the second floor, there are several , which in some cases are part of a larger ornament. The central balcony is secured with a wrought iron railing that's embellished with floral motifs, while the two supportive are adorned with . The , which are placed above the first floor windows, are also decorated with some floral decorations.
