Villa Ana

The construction of the two-story residential villa, also known as Villa Generoes or Villa Ana, took place between 1904 and 1906. The design for the construction was created by the Czech master builder and architect Josef Hronek for his own and his family's residential needs on the outskirts of Bled. He moved from Czech to , and later on, he moved to Bled where he started a building firm in 1904. He built his own villa a little before the center of town. Exactly where it would attract the most attention of potential customers, where rich visitors, who could afford to commission summer residences from him, would arrive. He built at least seven villas up to the beginning of the . Josef Hronek sold in 1916 to a high school teacher from , after he had a motorcycle accident in which he lost his leg. In 1926 Andrej Ristič bought the villa for his wife Ana as a summer house, and they renamed the building Vila Ana. At the time, they lived in Belgrade with their children. During the , the villa was confiscated, and served as a German police office, and in 1946, the family got their villa back.

The southeastern corner of the Art Nouveau building is determined by two , which are covered by a bell-shaped dome that's adorned with and crowned with a globe as a . The loggias are secured with stone balustrades, which contain the same as the balustrade that secures the roof terrace that's located on the circular bay window. The bay window is part of an , of which a balcony and a top gable are part of, of which the latter is decorated with a , a , and floral decorations. An can be seen on the northern side of the building, above which a wooden loggia can be seen, which is supported by two . The balcony and the loggia on the western side and one of the balconies on the southern side are also supported by corbels. A is placed on the southwestern side of the building. The , which are placed underneath the second floor windows, are embellished with , semi-spheres, and six .
