Villa Bella

The construction of the two-story villa, which is also known as Villa Beli Dvor, was completed in 1870 and was built for residential purposes. It was built by the noble Lazzarini family and adapted in 1884 according to the plans of the architect Franc Faleschini. When Slovenia was still part of Yugoslavia, a hotel company held offices in the villa, and later on, it became the property of the businessman Janez Škrabec.

Two strips of are placed underneath the roof of the Neo-Renaissance building, one of which is adorned with foliage. The three that are placed above the , which is located in the , are also adorned with acanthus foliage. The straight , which are located above all other second floor windows, are also decorated with a strip of dentils. The columns and , which are used to flank many of the windows, are crowned with either an Ionic or a Doric . The in the , the balustrades of the yard terrace, and the balcony, which is supported by four corbels, are all the same in design.
