Garni Hotel

The three-story building, which was built in 1872 by the order of Antun Knoll from , was constructed as a residential building. The building housed the Garni Hotel, which was built as the first accommodation facility within the spa complex. The construction of the hotel further emphasized the tourist development of this area and encouraged the expansion and design of the landscaped garden, which became one of the most beautiful public gardens in Europe at the time. In 1890, Josip Deutsch and Ernst Schwimmer became the new owners of the spa, who continued to build and expand the spa and adapt old facilities. Around that time, three thousand guests passed through Lipik every year.
The building in 1914
Although the spa was temporarily interrupted by the , it was resurgence in 1920. The owner of the spa then became 's National Foundation for the Suppression of Tuberculosis. The spa was renovated and shone with its old glory. The spa was temporarily interrupted for a second time by the , which had a significant impact on Lipik's tourism. Despite this, the first patients were admitted to the sanatorium as early as 1946, almost immediately after the end of the war. Later on, the building became known as the Kur Hotel where patients of the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation are accommodated.

The eight top gables of the Neo-Renaissance building are all topped with a pointed that's crowned with wrought iron . The top gables are embellished with , crowned with a Doric , as well as , which are placed on top of loads of other windows. In addition, the building is decorated with under which you can either see or adorned with . On the western side of the building, you can see several balconies, one of which is supported by two pillars that are crowned with an Ionic capital.
