Nürnberger Hof

The construction of the four-story residential and commercial building, which was started in 1898 and was completed in 1899, was executed according to the plans of the Austrian architect . The building was built on the site of the original Baroque two-story building called Grossherzog Karl, where the Czech composer stayed in 1879. The current building was constructed in the order of Wilhelm Gärtner, who had a hotel and restaurant operated in it under the name Nürnberger Hof.

The large of the Neo-Gothic building features two smaller turrets and is covered with a hip roof and a lantern tower, all of which are crowned with . The turret also features , topped with a , and a semi-hexagonal that contains a , of which the arches feature another keystone. The loggia is supported by columns crowned with a Doric and secured with the same stone balustrade as the . Another oriel window is placed in the stepped top gable that's topped with a segmental . This oriel window, as well as the balconies and balconets, are supported by . The entrance portal is roofed with a roof of which the drainage exists of .
