The construction of the building, which was constructed with a residential and a commercial function, was completed in 1896. The building was originally built as a four-story building, but over the years the building underwent certain modifications in which two extra floors were added. The first adaptation took place somewhere at the beginning of the 20th century and another adaptation took place somewhere after the . Around that time, the building was nationalized and its name was changed into Hotel , named after the city located on the Crimea Peninsula, and it also beared the name Grand Hotel Bad for some time. In more recent years, the attic was further modified and the building was again called Kaisbad.

The original building was built in the Neo-Renaissance style and after all the adaptations it gained a more Art Nouveau and Art Deco appearances. The newly built attic features several dormer, all of which are topped with a pointed . A large vacant is placed around the same height, under which an is located that states the name of the building. At the same height, there are many balustrades containing that are present in even greater numbers.

The building features many small balconies in different sizes, of which the curved wrought iron railing is lavishly decorated with . Some of the balconies have supportive underneath, which varies is numbers from three to eight. The wrought iron corbels that support the , which coveres one of the three entrances, is also lavishly decorated with volutes. Four panels are placed between the third and fourth floor windows, which are beautifully embellished with floral decorations, including . The circle-top windows on the first floor feature a lovely mushroom-shaped window.
