Jordan Todorov House

- Preslav Street 4 -
The two residential and commercial buildings that are located on Preslav Street 4 and Genoa Street 3 both belonged to Jordan Todorov. Both buildings were built in 1911 but were designed by two different architects. The one on Preslav Street 4 was designed by the Bulgarian architect and the one on Genoa Street 3 was designed by the Bulgarian architect . The last renovation of the building on Preslav Street 4 was finished in 2021 and changed its color from grey to yellow and orange.

Both buildings are built in the similar style of Art Nouveau and contain many other similarities. Both buildings feature just underneath the roof but their appearances are slightly different. Also to be seen underneath the roof cornice of both buildings are slightly different , as well as some , of which one of them bears the construction year 1911. Both buildings also contain some geometric forms and beautifully detailed ornamentation between and above the windows.

The building located at Genoa Street 3 contains a semi-hexagonal with a balcony on top of it. Underneath it, you can see a made out of ribbons, and further up you can see a shield shaped ornament representing a and a scale.

The building which is located at Preslav Street 4 contains a beautiful wreath made out of ribbons. A bit further down, you'll be able to see a mascaron of the Greek god . A little bit further down, you'll see two caducei and even a bit more down a balcony with a cast iron railing and two cast iron corbels.
