Headquarters of the Bulgarian Navy

The administrative building, which is originally built as a Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Stock Market, was designed by the Bulgarian architects and . The construction began in 1929 and was finished in 1933 and was inaugurated by bishop Andrey in 1935. Since 1952 the building has been handed over to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and is used as the Headquarters of the Navy.

The building is built in the Neo-Classical style and contains some Neo-Baroque elements. The building features a huge round shaped entrance, which is crowned with a huge half sphere dome. The underneath it is embellished with unusually big . The on the first and second floor are crowned with three Ionic . The between the first and the second floor contains the same kind of as the balconets that can be seen underneath each of the windows. Above the central entrance door, you see an stating ЩАБ ВОЕННОМОРСКИ СИЛИ (BULGARIAN NAVY HEADQUARTERS), as well as the of Bulgaria. Above the other two entrances, you'll see the emblem of the Bulgarian Navy and in between the three doors an anchor.
