Andrey Atanasov House

The design of the project came from the Italian architect and was co-authored by Petar Panchev. It was built for the Bulgarian educator, bookseller, and book publisher Andrey Anastasov and his son Kosta Andreev. Andrey Atanasov, also called Kilitchi Andrey, was born around 1826 in the Macedonian town of . He moved to , where he engaged in real estate and publishing. He got acquainted and maintained contacts with the teacher , whom he supplied with Bulgarian textbooks and newspapers. Later he moved to Varna, where he engaged in trade and opened a hardware store.

On top of the pink and white building, which was built in the Eclectic style, you can see a small . The tympanum is decorated with , a , and two . Underneath the tympanum, you'll see some floral ornamentation, a , as well as two that are crowned with an Ionic . A little bit further down you'll be able to see a balcony, which is secured with a cast iron railing. The two that support the balcony are embellished with . The same corbels can be seen underneath the balcony on the second floor, but in this case, there are three corbels instead of two. This balcony is secured with a stone balustrade that's lavishly decorated. The pilasters on this floor are crowned with a Corinthian capital. Underneath the windows on the second floor, you'll see a with six each.
