Evtimiya and Niko Vasfiadis House

The residential building is built for the fish merchant Niko Vasfiadis and his wife Evtimiya. It was built in 1922 and the design came from the hand of the Bulgarian architect . The ornaments are the work of the Bulgarian sculptor . The building was later converted into a hotel and was completely renovated in 2018.

The Art Nouveau building is adorned with a lot of ornaments that are related to the sea. This can be seen in the decorative shells that can be admired in multiple places, as well as the octopus above one of the windows. There are also some ornamental fishes that can be seen on the two . The bottom, as well as on both sides of the oriel window, are both decorated with floral ornamentation. The oriel windows are flanked by garland wreaths, of which two of them either contain the construction year 1922 or the initials Н.В. (N.V.). In the center of the building, you'll see two balconies, one of which is secured with a cast and wrought iron railing and the other with a stone balustrade that contains . Above the top balcony door, you can see a , of which the hair is not only hanging vertically but also horizontally.
