Dr. Svrakov House

The building was built as a residential and commercial building for Dr. Svrakov. Subsequently, in the title of the original project, the name of the owner was changed to Maria Popova. The building was designed by the Italian architect and the construction was finished in 1914.

The symmetrical building is built in the style of Art Nouveau and contains some beautiful Gothic details on the first floor, like the pointed arches, which are supported by columns. Around the main entrance door, on the left side of the facade, there are some beautiful fragments that feature floral ornaments and . On both sides of the main facade, there's a semi-hexagonal that stretches all the way from the second until the attic floor. The oriel windows are richly decorated with fragments that are adorned with many different kinds of floral ornaments. Underneath each of the oriel windows, a can be seen.

In between the oriel windows, on the second and third floor, there are two large balconies that are each supported by four . The balconies are secured with a stone balustrade that contains . Above and around the windows and even on the dormer there are plenty more floral ornaments, as well as garlands. Underneath the roof , you can even see a strip of .
